@Viv10 How was the reset attempted, did you make use of the HP Recovery partition (F11) or did you use the HP recovery media?
If you don't have an HP Recovery media and have attempted reset using the windows troubleshooter or a retail copy of windows, you'll need to order a recovery media: Click here for steps.

Or you may also attempt to download the same using the steps on this link: click here

On your console, press Windows Key+S.

Type "reset this PC" (no statements), at that point press Enter.

Go to the correct sheet, at that point select Get Started.

You can decide to keep your records or evacuate everything.

Snap Keep My Files when you need to hold your own records, applications, and customizations

Snap Next, at that point select Reset. Your working framework will be re-introduced, and your PC will restart.

You can choose Remove Everything when you incline toward disposing of all your own documents, applications, and customization settings.

You can select to expel all the records from every one of your drives or simply the drive where Windows is introduced.

You have the alternative to simply evacuate your documents or to erase them while cleaning the drive.

When you click Reset, the procedure will begin. It might take some time for it to finish.
