Hi:

You need this driver for that ID but it is only good for W8.1, not W8.

Your notebook is only supported by HP for W8.1 and W10.

This package contains the driver that enables the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware. Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework provide system temperature and power utilization information for the system thermal protection to function properly. This package is provided for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72069.exe

The hardware ID you posted is supported by the driver as shown in the dpdf_cpu setup information file.

So, you may need to take the free upgrade to W8.1 from the Windows Store in order for this driver to work.

Unfortunately, when I went to the official website it stated that HP couldn't give me instructions to follow to update to download windows 8.1 Because I can lose important information or that my laptop might not run properly or I can end up damging it.

Thank you for sending me the link to the installment. I installed it anyway even without upgrading to 8.1 and it worked wonderfully. My issue has now be resolved! Thank you so much. 🙂

You're very welcome.

Glad the file worked on W8 too.
