Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was running the factory installed win 10. I upgraded to win 11 all went well and was fine until I turned it on a week later. It reverted to win 10 for no reason.  It also said win 10 needed to be upgraded. I tried and it seemed like it was doing it but after a minute it failed. (over and over)I have been messing with this for a really long time. It boots and works ok but it clearly is not right. It seems I need to figure out how to use the recovery partition or get a set of disks from HP. (easier said than done.)_ I think I should be able to create disks as well but I can't figure out how to do it. i do think I must have just missed the answer because I have spent an absurd amount of time. In retrospect I should have taken it somewhere.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Wayne

1. If you wish to go back to Factory settings, please use Cloud Recovery tool

                  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06162205

2. If you wish to run Windows 11 to avoid doing upgrade again, please use ISO file from the following source

                  https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download

    (a) Mount ISO file as DVD drive

               mountISO.png

    (b) Run Setup.exe to install Windows 11

    (c) If you wish to keep all user data/files and program, please tick Keep

Regards.
