OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-xd0000 (758R0AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello HP Team,

I recently purchased a brand-new, sealed HP Omen 16 (16-xd0015AX) from an authorized online retailer, but the HP support page is showing an incorrect warranty start date.

The product was delivered completely sealed and unused, but the HP system shows the warranty starting several months before my actual purchase date. Because of this, I am losing a significant portion of my 1-year onsite warranty.

Device details:
• Product Number: 9X649PA#ACJ
• Serial Number (partially shared for safety): CND4***
• Warranty showing online: 25-Dec-2024 to 24-Dec-2025
• Actual purchase date: July 2025

I have the full invoice and product images ready, and I can share them privately with an HP moderator when requested.

I kindly request your help in correcting the warranty start date or guiding me on the next step.

Thank you!

Hello @aarushomen ,

Welcome to the HP community. This is just a peer-to-peer community and not HP Support.

As a new guest to our community, I would advise the community search functionality, as it bears answers for most questions.

A quick search for the term "warranty" finds, as an example, this >Brand new desktop already out of warranty?<

One of our friendly volunteers explains exactly why this is happening and also shows how the warranty, if entitled, can be corrected using the Warranty Dispute page.

You may also want to use the community search with Keywords like India and Warranty.

Most of us are just volunteers here.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
