Newly reinstalled notebook using Microsoft vanilla Windows 10 build 22H2 ISO

 

Installs and runs fine

 

Open hp.com/support -> Software and Drivers Laptop -> Let HP Detect your product -> prompts to install HP Support Solutions Framework, and thereafter correctly identifies the PC including product no (H4R48EA#ACQ) and serial no.

 

But when I "Select this product" I get the lady looking at a wall of pictures and the message in my header, plus "Try going back to Support home or use our Diagnostics Solutions [...]"

 

I just want to know if I have the latest drivers and BIOS installed. I realise this is quite an old PC but it's not like it went out of support during Windows XP or anything... 🤷‍♂️

When the PC doesn't show up by searching via the HP site using a product number or serial number, I use a general search using Edge 'HP 4340s drivers,' and I accessed the support page that way.

There are several entries, but the first one you see works.
