@Moh00, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Looks like you've pressed the ESC key during startup, and that's brought you to the Startup Menu — totally normal! This menu is actually super helpful. Here’s a quick breakdown of what each option does, just so you know you’re in the right place:

F1 – System Information: Want to check your laptop's specs? This is the place.

F2 – System Diagnostics: Run this if you feel something’s off — great for quick hardware checks.

F7 – HP SpareKey: Useful if you've forgotten your system password (only if it's been set up earlier).

F9 – Boot Device Options: Planning to boot from a USB or external drive? This is your go-to.

F10 – BIOS Setup: Advanced settings like boot order, security, and system configuration.

F12 – Network Boot: Mostly used in enterprise setups or by IT folks.

ENTER – Continue Startup: If you're done poking around, this will take you back to your normal startup.

If your PC’s acting up or you're stuck at this screen frequently, feel free to share what exactly is happening after you press ESC, or if there’s an issue you’re trying to troubleshoot — I’m here to help. 🙌

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
