I have a 15t-eb0000 and love it, so I bought a unit with the same specs to have another computer, remanufactured. It has the 10750H processor and Nvidia GTX 1650 video card; however, it has Home edition in the digital license. I tried the USB fresh install method from my other machine. All of the traditional methods of using phone activation and whatever else I found on this forum are not working. I have tried to click the hardware changes option. Nothing. What am I missing?  How can I get it back to its rightful OEM pro version?

It doesn't sound to me like that model has a W10 Pro OEM product key if you installed Windows and ended up with a W10 Home installation.

Download and run the free showkey plus app from the Microsoft store.

ShowKeyPlus - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

It will show you the installed key and the W10 OEM key as well as the W10 OEM version description.

W10 Pro would show up in the report like this:

OEM Edition: Win 10 RTM Professional OEM:DM

You can also enter your notebook's serial number in the search window at the link below and it should indicate what version of W10 the notebook came with.

Interesting.

I guess I assumed these came with Pro since the first one I got already had Pro. I'm wondering if someone upgraded it prior to me getting it.

The non-upgraded one says: Win 10 RTM core OEM:DM

The upgraded one says: Win 8 RTM Professional OEM:DM.

Neither of the serials show an OS on the Part Surfer page.

'Core" means the version is W10 Home.

If the PC has previously been upgraded to W10, you can see if you can upgrade back to W10 Pro by following the guidance at the link below:

FIX: There is no option to select a different version of Windows 11/10 to install. (Pro, Home, Etc.)...

If that works and allows you to select W10 Pro, select that and when you get to the part that asks you to enter a product key, select the 'I don't have a product key' option and W10 will install.

If the PC had previously been upgraded to W10 Pro, it will be activated when your notebook is connected to the internet, since the Microsoft activation server will have a record of that.

If the PC had not been previously upgraded to W10 Pro, then Windows will not be activated, and you will have to purchase a W10 Pro product key or reinstall W10 Home.
