@GPSir, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing some issues with your HP PC, specifically with Windows and BIOS recovery. Let's break it down and see how we can address each problem.

Windows Problem

  1. Startup Issues: If your PC isn't starting up properly, you might need to perform a startup repair. You can do this by booting from a Windows installation media (USB or DVD) and selecting "Repair your computer" from the setup screen.
  2. System Restore: If your Windows was working fine before and suddenly started having issues, you can try restoring your system to a previous point. This can be done through the Control Panel or during startup repair.
  3. Reinstall Windows: If the above methods don't work, you might need to reinstall Windows. Make sure to back up your important files before doing this.

BIOS Recovery Problem

  1. BIOS Update: If your BIOS is corrupted or not functioning properly, you might need to update or recover it. HP PCs usually have a BIOS recovery feature. You can access this by pressing a specific key (often F10, F2, or Esc) during startup.
  2. BIOS Recovery from USB: HP provides BIOS recovery files that can be downloaded from the support website. You can create a recovery USB drive and use it to restore your BIOS.
  3. Reset BIOS Settings: Sometimes, resetting the BIOS settings to default can resolve issues. This can be done from within the BIOS setup menu.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
