HP Notebook 15_AF114AU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product Name: HP Notebook 15 AF114AU

Product Number: P3C92PA

My notebook is not able to boot in windows 10 and hangs just before login. I had reinstalled the OS with the recovery CD after which it worked for 3-4 days and once again started to hang.

I tried to get the diagnostics done on the notebook post which I found that Hard drive DST is getting failed. The screen snapshot of the error is sent as attachment.

Does this error indicate the hard disk failure? Do I need to replace the hard disk? Can a low level formatting resolve the issue? How to do low level formatting? Any specific software/freeware to be used? And how to load the OS once again after the ow level formatting? Can I use recovery CD's to load the Win 10 OS?
