Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am happily using Windows 10, 64 bit on HP EliteBook 840 G7 Notebook and wondering whether to move to Windows 11.  I have seen worrying stories and comments with people wanting to roll back to Windows 10 due to the problems experienced following the upgrade and I wanted to ask the HP community of experiences so far, so I am grateful to learn your thoughts on this hot topic.  Many thanks.

Hi:

 

The only way you will be able to know how well W11 does on your notebook is to try the upgrade.

 

The only information I can provide is that HP does provide W11 driver support for your notebook, should you need to install any drivers for it after the upgrade.

W10 goes out of support on October 14th of this year, so IMHO, it is worth trying out W11.

 

You can easily go back to W10 within 10 days if for some reason things do not work right on W11.
