@swodniW

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

To get the answer to this question,  yes you can install windows 7 OS but remember that Microsoft will no longer push out updates for windows 7 OS. The Windows 10 OS is the latest and also recommend one over windows 7 in 2021.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi @swodniW

You can see all drivers available for your PC model here >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-dw0000-laptop-pc/26185492/model/27819497

No, there are no Windows 7 drivers available, only for Windows 10.

Windows 7 (first released in 2009) is now an obsolete product, end of life product and should not be used in a production environment anymore.  There are even rumors for Windows 11 on the web >> https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=Windows+11

As mentioned by @Echo_Lake , you should stick to Windows 10. If you face difficulties with it, please provide concrete details and you may receive help resolving them on Windows 10.

Hello

I successfully installed Windows 7. There exist a gigabyte tool which allows you to "inject" (this is NOT the right therm) drivers.

After the installation there are only a few drivers (minimal) able to use. Good luck to everyone wants to install windows 7 on a win10 pc, no keyboard no mouse: no usb. Programs which allows you to update drivers are really slow.

Why do i want (ed) to change the os?

just user experience.  I tried to change explorer, dwm, dlls and other files but each time i had to delete a virtual machine and reinstall the os. Yes, it is kinda stupid: windows 7 and windows 10 are different it is not so easy to change just a file to replace rlly important functions. I tried. Windows 11 should be the solution. Thanks everyone who answered. Bye
