Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm trying to install Windows 7 on the HP 17-by2631ng laptop. After the "Windows is loading files" screen, the "Starting Windows" screen appears, but the animated logo freezes after a second, always at the same frame.

 

I read that what might help is enabling Legacy BIOS instead of UEFI, but I can't find that option in the BIOS menu. I have the newest BIOS driver. Please help!

Hi:

 

You cannot install or run W7 on any platform beyond the Intel 6th gen core processors.

 

Your notebook has an Intel 10th gen core processor.

 

You can only run W10 x64 on that platform.
