HP Notebook - 15-da0078na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After inputting passcode to 'wake' notebook I am most often left facing a black screen with cursor. I then have to access Task manager to run program and choose Windows Explorer to bring up the desktop screen. How can I get the notebook to do this automatically as it clearly should be doing?

Thanks in advance

download the batch file from this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bDTuXmAK0tgowonAHRTf5LjEjgIJ1fjB/view?usp=sharing  then type y . then restart ur pc . wait for the procees to complete . then in search bar type defrag and optimize drives then click on the app then turn off scheduled optimization . then click on C:  then analyze then wait for the process to finish . then click on optimize . wait for the process to finish . update all ur pc drivers from hp.com/drivers and keep ur windows updated . also update the graphic drivers from geforce experience(nvidia users only) . then uninstall onedrive from ur pc . then go to task manager > startup . disable cortana and do not run ur web browser in the background . then in settings go to pesonaliztion>lock screen> turn off tips ,fun facts ..... then settings>privacy>app permssions disable all the unneccessary apps except snip&sketch , nvidia control panel , windows security  then go to control panel  in the search bar just type system properties click on it . then under performance tab  click on settings .... then under visual effects set it to custom and uncheck everything except animate controls and elements inside windows, show thumbnails instead of icons, show translucent selection of triangle, show window contents while dragging, smooth edges of screen fonts . then apply then ok then restart ur pc . then shut down ur computer . wait for few minutes. then start tapping esc button and now press the power button u will see a menu press the associated button to go to windows recovery and run automatic startup repair . wait for the process to finish . check whether problem persists
