Hello everybody , I am new here.So i decided to reinstall my Laptop.I saw that there is an option called windows reset.My questions is if I reset windows do i need to install windows from external source or it wont delete itself.My Windows came with the laptop (I dont have Disc ) . And after the reset will my Windows activate itself again . I am sorry for the bad english ,but i hope you can understand me.If you have any questions i will be glad to answer.

Then I guess you will either have to use the cloud recovery tool to create a bootable recovery drive, or leave it be.

 

You can also clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive using the media creation tool at the link below.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

After W10 has completed installing you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

Hi:

 

If you reset Windows, it is supposed to reinstall and reactivate itself without any external media needed.

 

There is also a tool called the HP cloud recovery tool you can use to make a bootable USB recovery drive if the reset fails or if you ever need to replace the hard drive.
