HP Pavilion 15 E015 TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I installed an appplication which started all these myriad of problems for me.

First Window keys are not functional can't search for anything, but window explorer works and i can open control panel from there but at the same time can't open PC setting.

Screen black out after few minutes but the open windows prevail.

Taskbar doesn't shoe anything other than Win logo and Antivirus.

Recovery fails for the version just before installing culprit program or previous options also don't work.

please help...

Thanks in advance

Hello @AkshayK

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting !

You may be lucky - probably System Restore will help you.

1. Please, shutdown the computer using the power button - complete shut down.

2. Power it back on by pressing the power on button

2.1 As soon as you press the power-on button, immediately start hitting the Esc button (like tap-tap-tap) before any HP or other logo appears

This should open a HP Startup Menu

3. Choose F11 for System Recovery options.

The computer should boot from it's recovery partition to open you various recovery options. Note, that F11 option will only work if the recovery partition is there (not deleted) and intact. From there, you have prenty of options to choose from. Every HP computer comes with recovery partition present to assist in tough moments.

Please, perform "System Restore" first in an attempt to fix the issue. Please, restore back to previous days (restore point) where the issue was not present. Here is more info:

Hi @AkshayK

Could you clarify which error exactly do you get when you try perform the System Restore ?

Would you be able to take few pictures (showing the process/error) with your phone or camera and post/attach them back here ?

When all that didn't work out I did a fresh Windows 10 installation.

It's resloved now.

But Thanks for the support.
