I wiped my HP laptop using diskpart. When I tried to install windows 11 media I got the error message 3FO no operating system.

Hi:

 

It sounds to me that your notebook is not booting from the W11 USB flash drive and is trying to boot from the hard drive with no operating system on it.

 

You have to 'tell' the PC to boot from the USB flash drive.

 

To do that, have the flash drive in the notebook's USB port.

 

Turn on or restart the PC.

 

Immediately press/tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

 

Select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the W11 USB flash drive and press the Enter key.

 

The notebook should boot from the flash drive.
