@DanielleS687, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I'm here to help you with your HP Notebook - 15-da0073ms running Windows 10 (32-bit).

The message "Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC" typically appears when Windows detects a startup issue it cannot fix automatically. This can be caused by corrupted system files, failed updates, or hardware issues.

Let's try the following steps to resolve it:

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Power off the notebook completely.
  2. Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
  3. Unplug the AC adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
  4. Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the battery and AC adapter, then power on the notebook.

Boot into Recovery Environment

  1. Power on the notebook and press F11 repeatedly as soon as it starts.
  2. This should take you to the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE).
  3. Select Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
  4. If Startup Repair fails again, proceed to the next step.

Use System Restore

  1. In the Advanced Options menu, select System Restore.
  2. Choose a restore point before the issue started.
  3. Follow the prompts to restore your system.

Run System File Checker (SFC)

  1. In Advanced Options, choose Command Prompt.
  2. Type the following command and press Enter:sfc /scannow
  3. Wait for the scan to complete. If it finds and fixes issues, restart your PC.

Reset Your PC (Last Resort)

If none of the above work, you may need to reset your PC:

  1. Go to Advanced Options > Reset this PC.
  2. Choose Keep my files (recommended) or Remove everything.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Resetting will reinstall Windows. If you choose "Remove everything," it will erase all your personal files, so back up if possible.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
