HP Notebook - 15-ac161nr
Microsoft Windows 11

I am trying to find an adapter to copy personal information from a ssd series 350de drive  sku: rbu-8350des3/128gp. I got a virus and need  to do a recovery. It won't let me in pin number isn't available and I can't change it. I can't change the internet connections so I don't have internet connections. I want to save the personal data before I do the recovery because the recovery is supposed to save the personal data but doesn't always save the data. I am trying to be on the safe side if possible. i bought a insignia adapter that fits most M.2 NVME & PCLE  drives but I am not sure this is the right one. I haven't had any luck trying to find one that includes my model numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi:

If the M.2 enclosure also supports SATA M.2 SSD's it should work fine.

If it only supports NVMe SSD's, it will not.

The parts list indicates your notebook came with a 750 GB 2.5" SATA mechanical hard drive and normally the 15-ac notebooks that come with a 2.5" drive do not have a M.2 slot, so I find that very interesting.
