after upgrading to Windows 11 I can't turn on and off the touchpad and my cursor jumps all the time. I need a windows 11 touchpad driver that can be on and off to prevent the cursor jumping. Please help cecause I can't type on my laptop.

@Chris4739, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding upgrading to Windows 11

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you're experiencing touchpad issues after upgrading to Windows 11. Unfortunately, I can only assist with HP products and services. For HP laptops, I recommend checking for driver updates through the official HP Support website. Here's what you can do:

Visit the HP Support website: Go to support.hp.com and enter your laptop's model number to find relevant support documents and drivers.

Search for Windows 11 drivers: If Windows 11 drivers are available for your specific HP laptop model, you'll be able to download them directly from the HP website. Make sure you download and install the latest touchpad driver compatible with Windows 11.

Check Windows Update: Sometimes, driver updates are provided through Windows Update. Make sure your system is fully updated by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Adjust touchpad settings: You can try adjusting the touchpad settings by going to Settings > Devices > Touchpad. Here, you can enable or disable touchpad gestures and sensitivity.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
