Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Need to change my boot sequence and not able to get past the BIOS pwd screen. After 3 errors, the error code is i 92995584 , Bios version F.43 please help...

Please try this Password :

Steps to be followed:

  1. Use the unlock code posted above to enter the BIOS
  2. Disable all passwords that are enabled
  3. If asked for current password - type the unlock code
  4. For new password, just press ENTER key
  5. Repeat the same for verify password column.
  6. Then leave the BIOS by saving & exit option to save the changes.

Distinguished Professor Thanks, but that code did not work, please my operating system is dead and I can not install, I'm desperate, please help me, the disabled system code is exactly (i 92995584) with that letter i in front, before updating the bios yesterday to F.43 was not that letter, I do not know why the difference, thanks

Troubleshooting:

Incase if the Password doesn’t work please try a Hard Reset as follows.

1. Shut down the notebook

2. Unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery

3. Hold  down the Power button for 30 seconds

4. Plug in the Power/AC Adapter (Leave the battery out for the moment) & Start the Notebook

5. If you now see a password box, Please type the same password I shared before & press enter

Thank you again, sorry but that procedure did not work either, I'm quite disappointed to have bought an HP laptop, I've had several other brands and I've never had problems modifying the bios, I hope I have a solution and someone in this forum can really help, I really appreciate your time, if you have any other ideas ...
