If you need drivers, please follow these steps:
1. In the Run box type devmgmt.msc.
2. Unknown devices would be listed as such and marked out with a yellow question mark.
3. Select the unknown device or other device for which you need drivers and right click to access Properties.
4. In the Properties window click on Details tab and select Device Instance Id or Hardware ID from the drop down.
5. An alphanumeric string like this PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&SUBSYS_012F1025&REV_01\4&6B16D5B&0&33F0 is the identification marker for the device.
6. Please provide this number so that we can suggest the appropriate driver.

Vidya

Your HP Pavilion g6-2332sa Notebook Computer is almost identical to my sister-in-law's HP Pavilion g6-2210us Notebook Computer. You can read and follow the information posted in this HP forum thread entitled "g7 2233 missing drivers after windows 7 ultimate 64-bit clean install" assistnace with your issue.
The Windows 8 64-bit drivers listed for both computers are almost the same. I installed Windows 7 64-bit on her computer about a month ago and used the following multi-sourced drivers;
AMD Chipset Driver (USB 3.0, SM Bus, etc.)
Realtek FE Family LAN Driver <select download location for 5th item down list>
Realtek PCIe RTS5229 Card Reader Driver <select download location for 2nd item down list>
HP sp54972 Atheros 5xxx/9xxx WLAN Driver
HP sp59620 IDT HD Audio Driver
HP sp58539 Synaptics PS2 Touchpad Driver
and from Windows Update "HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor"
It is possible that the WLAN chipset on your machine is different and may require the use of one of the other drivers.
I also update updated the Synaptics driver to v16.2.21 from the Synaptics website. Some of the above drivers may require the HP Software Framework sp59202. Additionally, the WebCam requires the "VideoCM" package from the "SWsetup" folder in the original Windows 8 install and CyberLink YouCam sp59986.
When finished, there were no unknown device on her system.

Thanks Dunidar - managed to sort the keyboard issue and found most drivers I required from this thread. I now have an issue with audio though - the driver loaded successfully (IDT High Definition Audio Codec) but I get no bass sound through the laptop speakers. It sounds fine through headphones though. Playing with sound or Dolby equaliser settings appears to make no difference.
Any ideas anyone?!
Model is Pavilion G6-2332sa, product no. D0X72EA#ABV
