Hi:

My problem is slighly different.  I want to hand my Laptop to another family member and I want her to change the HP information I had to enter when I first bought the computer to  information that relates to her.

The problem is I cant find the page where I can make these changes.

I remember having to enter three types of memorable information like "What is the name of your first pet and what was the name of your first school".

Can you guide me to the place where I can make these changes?

Thanks

@Rockeythecat

That is the Initial Setup and once that is done, there is no way to redo it.

What you should try is something called a factory reset.

To do that, you reboot the PC, pressing F11 repeatedly.  When the HP Recovery Manager comes onscreen, select the option to reset the PC and let it run.  It's likely to atke 2-3 hours to complete, so you have to be patient.

If it finishes OK, when you restart it, it will redo the Initial Setup again.

Good Luck
