Oh, I see the problem now. Many times the recovery partition is corrupted and rendered useless by the upgrade to Windows 10. That is why it is failing now.

 

To answer your other Reply- yes,the machine ships with a recovery partition but it is always advisable to make your backup Recovery Media.

1* The hard drive can fail and have to be replaced.
