hp mini 1000 bios password reset?

my mom gave me her old hp mini but couldnt tell me what the bios password was if anyone could help me out my error says "password check failed fatal error system halted" [edited Serial Number by Moderator]

Try entering:      e9lo7ovu33       ( 3rd character is a lower case L )

Im sorry to bother you but i am running into the same problem, its my laptop i bought at cashland and it didnt have a password, a while later its telling me i need a password, none works and i get the same as everybody else. If i can get some help it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
