hi,
bought a new lap top with windows 10, I was told it would run all my software no problem.
software runs but not correctly.errors in calculations and more. there is no patch yet for the software and
as software cost ££££ `s ive installed win 7 but drivers missing. cant find them . tried from various sources but keeps coming up with "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for this software" when in try and install the chipset drivers from intel.
missing
chirset drivers
ethernet controller
network controllerpci data aquisition controller
universal serial bus controller
and more
graphics adapter drivers
monitor drivers,
many more.
please help, as it feels like i`ve been miss sold.
i`ve been back to the shop and they take no responsability and as i`d installed my software on it they wont take it back.
help please.
I love the laptop, just not windows 10 yet.
best regards
Wingnut

Card reader: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st file listed at the link below...
Network Controller: 1st driver on the top left is for 64 bit.
Bluetooth: 1st driver on the top left is for 64 bit.
Touchpad:
This package provides the driver that enables the Synaptics TouchPad in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The driver enables general touchpad functionality (for example double-tap and scroll) and provides a user interface.

Did you perhaps consider coming here to ask before you installed Windows 7? Cause if you had we would have told you drivers were going to be a problem. Intel and Microsoft do not want you running Windows 7 on rthe Kaby Lake (7th gen) platform. It would probably be easier to get your software running under Windows 10 than to put Windows 7 on the laptop.
But I am going to see if I can get the heavy artillery in here
Can you help with drivers? Kaby Lake, Intel HD620 video

hi,
awsome all drivers worked except graphics . Many thanks!!!
think the problem is with the device id, as i`ve checked the edited file and its fine.
I cant get the device id as its a fresh install and it wont detect it, are there any generic id`s that will work .

Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
Substitite the hardware ID in the modified graphics driver folder with the graphics adapter your notebook has.
To find the hardware ID go to the device manager and click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.
Click on the Standard VGA Adapter, and use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for it.
