@Ptosh98 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting HPCOMMRECOVERY and SYSINFO CAP stopped working issues on my laptop for many days.

I recommend you end the HPcommrecovery process in task manager and check if it helps. HPCommRecovery.exe is not essential for the Windows OS and causes relatively few problems.

Some malware camouflages itself as HPCommRecovery.exe, particularly when located in the C:\Windows or <C:\Windows\System32 folder>. Therefore, you should check the HPCommRecovery.exe process on your PC to see if it is a threat. I recommend you run a full virus scan on your computer to make sure it is virus free.

If the issue persists, please contact our phone support to get HP Recovery Media to reinstall Windows.

HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:

* Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

* Enter Product number or select to auto detect

* Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.
