To reconnect your HP 8020 printer to your laptop, follow these steps based on your operating system:

For Windows:

Wireless Connection:

  • Ensure your laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.
  • On the printer, open the Wireless settings menu and select "Wireless Setup Wizard."
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
  • On your laptop, go to "Control Panel" > "Devices and Printers."
  • Click "Add a printer" and select your HP printer from the list. Follow any additional prompts to complete the setup.

USB Connection:

  • Connect your printer to the laptop using a USB cable.
  • Windows should automatically detect the printer and install necessary drivers.
  • If prompted, follow any on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

For macOS:

Wireless Connection:

  • Make sure your Mac is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.
  • On the printer, navigate to the Wireless settings menu and choose "Wireless Setup Wizard."
  • Follow the instructions to connect the printer to your wireless network.
  • On your Mac, go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners."
  • Click the "+" button to add a new printer. Select your HP printer from the list and click "Add."

USB Connection:

  • Plug the printer into your Mac using a USB cable.
  • macOS should automatically detect the printer and install any necessary drivers.
