i updated the bios today (F.29-07/04/2022) SWSetup 140987. Laptop runs slower now. can i go back to the previous version, and how do i do that?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

If you wish to go back to the previous version of the BIOS, you may use the link here and expand the BIOS version to see the one you previously had: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-17-bw0000-laptop-pc-series/20283127/model/2...
