Product: Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A4AV)

I have erased the entire disk in my Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0333TX and installed Ubuntu 24.04.1 in single boot. But now when I try to install windows 11 24H2 again, it shows 'install drive to show hardware'. Please help me fix this.WhatsApp Image 2025-07-20 at 17.42.32.jpeg

Use the HP cloud recovery tool that will create a bootable USB recovery drive, that will install Windows the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

 

The recovery drive should include the necessary storage controller drivers for Windows to find the drive.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

 

HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

 

Since you have to use the software on another PC as yours is not working, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed.

 

Your PC's product number is A03GZPA#ACJ
