Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Omen and was looking for story layouts for a book and saved a few photos off of the internet and now I cannot find them for the life of me anywhere on this laptop. Where did the photos get saved to and how can i get then into a document to use them??

When you save an image, normally it is saved, by default, on Pictures folder unless you keep them on special place.

 

You can insert it to a document, normally word processing software such as MS Word or Notepad or some other software. Which one do you use now ?
