my laptop has been in a automatic repair loop for awhile and i tried everything and i was thinking if i should just buy a usb with windows 10 on it and just re download  it onto my laptop

Hi:

 

First run the hard drive diagnostics test (F2) in the BIOS to rule out any problems with the hard drive.

 

You do not need to buy W10.

 

Make your own USB recovery media using the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool.   

 

You will need to have access to another Windows PC running W7 64 bit or newer on it, since your PC is not working.
