Hallo, I am working on a notebook elitebook 820 g3. I tried to update the BIOS but it is asking the password. I have nonpw as the notebook is second hand.

I have been told and I read that HP canprovide smc.bin file and instructions to fix the problem. How can I ask the smc.file

Hi,

You'll need to contact HP Business Support to request a SMC file - you can do this starting on the following link.

Hi thanks for your advice. I tried several times but the software keeps bringing me to the forum...and here I am.

There is  hpone number in Italy and nothing else.

As far as you know is there any form on the HP web support page to fill to request the smc.bin file?

Thanks
