Hi @JohnEl57, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The message directing you to hp.com/go/techcenter/PCDiags usually appears after an HP system update, particularly for BIOS or firmware updates. It’s not necessarily an issue but rather an informational prompt.

What to Do:

  1. Visit the site – The page contains HP PC diagnostic tools, including HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows and HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
  2. Check for any available diagnostics – If you want to be extra sure everything is working fine, you can run:
    • Quick System Test – Runs a basic scan of key hardware components.
    • Comprehensive Test – A deeper scan for issues.
    • Component Tests – To check specific parts like the battery, memory, hard drive, etc.
  3. Ignore if No Issues – If your PC is running fine, there’s no urgent need to run diagnostics. You can dismiss the message.

Since you're not experiencing problems, this is likely just a routine message after an update.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
