That means your machine does NOT have 4-zone keyboard. The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c08233075
It says nothing about the kayboard. My Omen machine specs says it has
Full-size 4-zone lighting backlit keyboard with numeric keypad and NKRO
Regards.

I had the same problem with my Omen, and I talked to HP, and all I had to do was to activate the backlight wat to use the function keys in combo with the backlight key to start it. Hold down the FN key next to the CTRL KEY and the backlight key- F4 simultaneously. From now on, every time you boot up, all you need to do is press the backlight key F4 as necessary to turn it on.

Are you sure this will give you 4-zone backlit keyboard ?
