Product: ENVY m6-1232sa

I bought a HP ENVY m6-1232sa back in 2013. It came with a pre-installed Windows 8 at the time. Recently, I made a hardware change so I want HP to give me the WIndows OS product key so I can activate the Windows 10 on my computer after the hardware change. 

 

I tried contacting HP regarding this issue, however, I could not find a contact number or an email address that I could use to contact them. And the virtual bot seemed of no help. Can someone here help me with this issue please, or how I can contact HP regarding the same?

HP keeps no records of individual product keys associated with individual PCs.

 

However, with Win8 PCs, the original product key is encoded into the firmware of the motherboard, and if you download and run this utility in Windows, it should display it:  http://www.tenforums.com/software-apps/2577-showkey.html
