Wait a minute, you just provided the user HPUserUpNorth, who has the same problem as me, a new battery after it was brought up a month ago... I started this forum 16 months ago and all I got was a reply from a support agent giving me tips that didn't work!  I've been dealing with a bum battery for almost 1.5 years now.  A new battery living up to the standards of the 8-9 hours I bought this for would be nice to also have in my hands instead of my hands being locked to a power outlet!

I just bought around 2 months, is still under warranty.

I too have an envy with a battery life of 1.5 hours.  Not happy having to recharge it so often
