Hello, when I want to reset the laptop to the factory settings I get an error message "Recovery environment not found"
I made the hidden partitions visible and looked inside.

A recovery (folder 3 bytes)
A HPRERMTH.flg (file 67 bytes)
A Recovery (empty note)

Something is missing here or what I have to do

Hi:

What I suggest you do is using another Windows PC and a 32 GB USB flash drive, make bootable recovery media using the HP cloud recovery tool.

That tool will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

The problem is I want to sell it and it should be in original condition. it has a recovery partition and I would like the system to work with this recovery partition

Unfortunately, no one that I know of will be able to help you with that.

Using the cloud recovery tool is the same as a factory reset.

The cloud recovery tool where does my laptop data come from for factory settings?

HP just calls it that.

You are basically downloading the same recovery partition you have now, except it is in bootable USB format.

It is like buying a USB recovery drive from HP.

If you read the information on the link I posted, it explains all of this.

Here is the information in German.
