Product: HP Notebook - 17-ca0000nf
Operating System: Linux

Hi, a while ago,  had formatted the pc which was bought with windows already installed and installed MX Linux.

I now need to reinstall windows . I had not created any backup whatsoever . Is it possible to reinstall win ? if yes can u tell me how ?

Hi, Peter:

 

Since HP has withdrawn support for the cloud recovery tool as your notebook is more than 5 years old, your only option would be to use the Microsoft media creation tool to make a bootable USB installation flash drive to reinstall W10.

 

Download Windows 10

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page:
