Product: hp spectre x360

I found a solution on the community, but I'm having trouble when I press the power button, computer just goes on or off.  What am I doing wrong.  These were the instructions:  press the power button and then tap the f2 key, choose f10 key to enter the bios, use the system configuration tab.  Disable usb charging and press the f10 key to save the changes and boot into windows.  I'm not very computer smart, could someone please tell me do I press and hold the power button or what?  Thanks
