Hi has anyone ever had this error message before

That message appears when doing a BIOS recovery and BIOS file cannot be found.  This does not look good unfortunately.

 

HP has a recovery partition on the hard drive that is reserved for a copy of the BIOS among other items.

If the recovery partition is damaged the old BIOS file cannot be loaded.

If the hard drive was replaced and the old drive was  not cloned to the new one then there is no recovery partition and no BIOS file.

 

I assume you cannot boot into windows due to a bios problem.

I assume you cannot press ESC and run diagnostics.

 

What is product ID and/or model?  Possibly the BIOS can be restored using a flash drive.
