Hi @mdakashem,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your touchpad suddenly stops working, especially when you're trying to get things done. Let’s fix this together step by step with the right driver and a little care.

You can download the official touchpad driver directly from HP’s support page for your laptop:

👉 HP Laptop 15-fd0021nx (8F4T4EA) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

Once there, select Windows 10 (64-bit) as your operating system, and look for the Synaptics or ELAN Touchpad Driver under the “Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices” section.

If the Touchpad Still Doesn’t Work

Here are a few extra steps you can try:

1. Enable Touchpad

  • Double-tap the top-left corner of the touchpad (some HP models use this to toggle it on/off).
  • Or go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and make sure it’s turned on.

2. Update via Device Manager

  • Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.
  • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
  • Right-click your touchpad → Update driverSearch automatically.

3. Run HP Diagnostics

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
