If you are referring to a Windows product key, and your notebook came with Windows 8 or newer, the product key is encrypted in your notebook's BIOS.

 

You don't need the product key to reinstall Windows.

 

You can download and install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store and it will show you the Windows OEM product key that is encrypted in your notebook's BIOS.
