@anilmattoo3030, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Updating the UEFI (BIOS) on your HP Laptop PC 15s-dr3000 is a great way to ensure system stability, compatibility, and security. Here's how you can safely update it:

Method 1: Using HP Support Assistant (Recommended)

HP Support Assistant can automatically detect and install the latest BIOS/UEFI update for your laptop.

Steps:

  1. In Windows, search for HP Support Assistant and open it.
  2. If it's not installed, download it from HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
  3. Go to the My devices tab and select your laptop.
  4. Click Updates.
  5. If a BIOS update is listed, check the box next to it and click Download and Install.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions and do not turn off your laptop during the update.

Method 2: Manual BIOS Update via HP Drivers Page

If HP Support Assistant doesn't show a BIOS update, you can manually check and install it.

Steps:

  1. Visit the official HP drivers page for your model: Official HP® Support
  2. Select Windows 11 as your operating system.
  3. Scroll to the BIOS section.
  4. Download the latest BIOS update available.
  5. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. Ensure your laptop is plugged into power and do not interrupt the update process.

Important Notes

  • Close all applications before starting the update.
  • Do not power off or restart your laptop during the update.
  • If you're unsure about the update, feel free to ask for help here before proceeding.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
