when i put my put my laptop in sleep mode its not coming back until i hard reset it why ?

Check Power Settings: Ensure your power settings are configured correctly:

  • Go to Control Panel > Power Options, and check your current plan settings.
  • Make sure sleep mode settings are configured properly under "Advanced power settings."

Update Drivers: Outdated or corrupt drivers can cause sleep mode issues. Check for updates for your chipset and other drivers via:

  • Device Manager
  • HP Support Assistant

BIOS Update: Sometimes, a BIOS update can resolve power management issues. It is recommended to check if there is a BIOS update available for your model on the HP Support website.

Check for Software Conflicts: Background applications or system processes may interfere with sleep mode. Try closing unnecessary programs before putting your laptop to sleep.
