Your HP 15-g501nr Notebook was manufactured during the week of November 17th and November 23rd, 2014.

 

The 4th, 5th and 6th characters in the serial number will always be numbers.

 

4th = calendar year of production 

 

5th & 6th = calendar week of production.

 

4= 2014

47 = 47th week of 2014 =  November 17th through November 23rd
