From the numbers you provided i believe your mode is the
"HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11-e030ea Notebook PC"
quite a long name 😀
So max RAM for this machine is 8GB of DDR3L, at the moment you have 4GB.
It will not really speed up the notebook as the CPU is quite weak.

Thank you David looks like a new notebook then. This one has been amazing and I am loath to change it.
One thing for sure is it will be an HP one.

Yes, a new notebook or a good used one will perform a lot better.
You should get one with a decent CPU as it is not upgradable, whereas you can usually always add RAM, SSDs at a later point. Naturally nowadays an SSD will always be included as it makes a great difference in performance.
