Hello,

I want to add an SDD to my current machine, i have HP-15-dc0014nk

i found Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S500BW on Amazon, is it compatible and can it be used as a primary drive 

what are the NVme that are compatible with my machine?

Hp recommends the Crucial brand, also Hp sells their brand SSD's.
Compatible SSD's for your Crucial brand equipment can be found at the following link:

The SSD you mention is also compatible for your computer as it meets the appropriate characteristics, which is to be a PCIe, NVMe SSD.
