Pavillion 15cs1000tx
Microsoft Windows 11

I have Pavillion 15cs1000TX notebook, I recently installed a HP Inc. - HIDClass - 2.1.16.30156 update from optional updates. Since the update, The battery percentage randomly jumps to zero from above 70%, and even the diagnostic app shows that the battery needs to be replaced. But before the installation of this update, everything was working fine. Can someone please help me to uninstall the update?

Note:- It's not listed in uninstall updates option in windows update.

I am an IT professional dealing with a lot of notebooks and desktop PCs. Several days ago, I got an HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eh1010ur and installed all the recent updates including the one you mentioned. It is actually a pretty standard HP Wireless Button Driver update. Driver update is a separate type of updates, that's why it is not listed. However, I do not have any problems with the battery. Moreover, this driver only affects the operation of the Airplane Mode button (in my case, it is on the F12 button). Therefore, I seriously suspect that it is just a coincidence and your battery might be the real issue, not the update. Nevertheless, I can tell you how to revert to the previous version of this driver effectively uninstalling the update. You need to open Device Manager, expand the Human Interface Devices section, double-click the HP Wireless Button Driver, proceed to the Driver tab and click the Roll Back Driver button.

My Pavillion goes into sleep/hibernation and I can't wake it.  I've checked the keyboard settings in device manager and the box is ticked for "Allow this device to wake the computer"

I tried to Isolate the problem, It was first prompt that I needed to replace my battery. After replacing it with brand new battery the problem with shutting down remains, its event ID 41. Aside from that, another problem comes up, the checksum invalid. This is so frustrating. Its just 2 and half years old.

I have been having similar issues. 2 year old Pavillion and battery errors started saying battery is weak and replace. Then new battery installed but now computer randomly turning off. Ran adware checks, all diagnostics with everything passing except when tried to use diagnostic UEFI (pressing esc key at start up) but error says UEFI is too old and download new. I try to download new UEFI and will not install. it is a viscous circle and i hope it doesn't turn off before I post this. please help since of course it is out of warranty.
