ENVY 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I unboxed my new envy 360 yesterday. Followed all the prompts, set up emails, etc. At the end of the day it sent me a notice that updates would be installed at an off time.  When I went to shut it down for the night, it started going into the updates. I then saw a screen that requested a BitLocker Recover Key.. What the heck is that?? I saw a ton of letters/numbers but didn't think to write them down. ..Self admittedly, I am definitely not proficient with computers and I had hoped that buying a brand new one I might avoid some of these troubles. When I googled this situation, some suggested to "wipe and reload"? another suggested a system recovery? Could a wireless USB mouse prompt this? Jeepers....Love any help you can advise.
