Product: HP Laptop - 15t-dy100
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Laptop - 15t-dy100 will not detect our smart TV.  Our children's HP Spectre have no issues screen sharing. Can our PC screen share?  It says that it has Miracast.  What are we missing?

You will have to find out the details from your TV manufacturer about settings needed in order to either connect to it or to stream to it.  Each one does it differently, so there are no general troubleshooting guidelines we can provide you.

 

Same with Miracast -- each TV supports it, or does not, depending on individual brands and specific models.

Our TV does support screen share with Miracast.  We have other HP models and Android and iPhone cell phones that do not have any issues.  The only device that we can't figure out how to screen share is this model of HP
